Ways to get out of paying your rent ...

A disgruntled tenant on a caravan site in Essex found one way to dispute an outstanding rental payment.  The heavy plant operator knocked down the landlord's house, badly damaging two cars in the driveway, and destroyed a police car that arrived at the scene.

The house had one dog and six cats one cat is still currently missing. A reported in the Telegraph,

'Vincent Frostick, an accountant who lives opposite the demolished house, said: "I saw the JCB driving up the road. A policewoman turned up and tried to stop him but he just smashed through the car. He was very, very calm - he wasn't shouting or anything. He demolished the two cars in the drive by lowering the bucket on to them.'

Do you have any stories about rent avoidance? We'd love to hear about them.
