Prince William and Kate make the right move

Prince William is apparently trading in his party-boy digs at the officers’ mess to make the right move with Kate Middleton  to his dad’s house in London.

The 25-year-old royal girlfriend has reportedly made a secret move into Prince Charles’ official residence, Clarence House, after leaving her job as a fashion buyer for Jigsaw.

Royal sources have said, while Kate’s new living quarters were not official, she was becoming “part of the furniture”.

"She and William have had a rollercoaster year, but it is fair to say they're closer than ever," one source told The Sun newspaper.

"Since getting back together in the summer their relationship has matured and they are now on far more of an equal footing.

Clarence House is far cry from the couple’s original love nest at St Andrews University, Scotland where they first shared accommodation.

When is a house not really a house?

Photographer Robin Collyer began documenting these bungalow style substations from the 1950's and 1960's. Apparently there are 322 of these, designed to blend in with the properties in neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Home buyers give festive bling a frosty reception

housebling.jpgChristmas light fanatics should avoid decorating the outside of their homes if they want to sell up over the festive period.

When questioned in the summer of 2006, Christmas lights came 8th in the rankings of what was most likely to put you off buying a home. However, house exteriors that are over-enthusiastically decked in Christmas decorations have rocketed to number three in December's survey of home buyers' pet hates.

Move in to Croc Dundee's Mansion

hoges.jpgEver wanted to live like a movie star? Well now you can lunch where Linda lunched and hide-out where Hoges hid out. Famous actor Paul Hogan (aka Crocodile Dundee) is selling the 326-acre property where he married co-star Linda Kozlowski in 1990. The property, a magnificent South American style home, formerly the Hogans’ Australian base, has been on and off the market over the years. But it is now definitely “on the market” – that is, if you have £3.64million burning a hole in your pocket!
