Michael Jackson thrilling Devon
Article: Angela Harper-Erini
The price of real estate could skyrocket in the Devonshire countryside if the rumours are true that Michael Jackson will follow in his brother, Tito’s footsteps and move to the seaside town of Barnstaple. The controversial star apparently wants to hole-up in the countryside with his family to escape the media’s prying cameras, according to metro.co.uk.

Tito has been working on projects in Britain, including as a judge on ‘Just the two of us’, so has decided living in south west England suits his lifestyle.
“We hope it will be a family hideaway where my brothers and sisters can escape media attention when we need to,” he told metro.co.uk
“I can confirm that he [Michael] has been to Barnstaple on private visits in recent years along with my brother Jermaine and a few other Jackson siblings.
“Michael likes North Devon, too, as no one bothers him.
“My family love North Devon and the wonderful countryside and friendly people. I am looking forward to living in Barnstaple and I hope the Barnstaple public will respect our family's privacy.”
Upon arrival the locals welcomed the star-studded family with gifts that included cider with warnings to drink it in moderation.
Jackson has reportedly made offers on two Barnstaple properties. The 49-year-old king of pop has also lived in Ireland and Bahrain and is fighting to keep his Neverland Ranch in the United States.

If Micheal Jackson buys a home in Devon, I will not take my family to Devon for a family holiday until he moves back home to America. This is nothing personal I just take my childrens safety seriously.

With all due respect if Micheal Jackson is buying property in the UK then good for him because from what I can gather the U.S. like to hound huge artists e.g:Madonna, Britney etc and it seems that we in the UK have a lot more to offer than just media hype!!

Mr Allman
Most of the people of North Devon would prefer it if you never bring your family here. We'll be just fine without people like you.

I am sure that Micheal Jackson will find a secluded home in Devon, all around the coast and Exmoor, there are some wonderful places. Why can't people be left alone, after all, we all come into this world the same and we all leave the same. Why should some have to fight for some piece and quiet, just because of the profession they choose.

It will be good if Micheal Jackson moves to Devon. It will benefit him and also benefit me as a landlord.I honestly do not see why he can not be free to reside hear in UK.
