My tonka toy lawnmower cannot cope

As my house was built on what was previously an allotment my little lawnmower (Tonka toy) as its known by my family just cannot cope. My lawn is also on a slope which makes it worse. Each year when I do the first attempt at mowing my grass, there is also loads of huge rooted weeds which I assume was some sort of vegetable in its heyday.
Me and my mower struggle but we get there in the end, however when I stand back and admire our work, I can never think well it was worth the hard work and the two hours its taken as the tougher weeds are still sitting there laughing at us. If I do win the new super lawnmower I shall make sure my little Tonka toy goes to a good home i.e my sister who only has a tiny garden which is more suitable for.
