Our new lawn deserves some respect

H Hobden says:

Our lawn has put up with rather a lot over the last few years since we moved into this house; the first day we moved in my husband ripped the previous owners fitted bedroom furniture out and threw it out of the window and onto the lawn, then it put up with the children and swings and paddling pools which left lots of dead patches.

The second year we were here my husband decided to build an extension which involved lots more things being thrown out of windows onto the already sad looking lawn in an attempt to save time going up and down the stairs.

Now that the extension is just about complete a year or so on, and the rubbish pile has grown as have the weeds the lawn has just been totally destroyed by my husband and a hired mini digger to get rid of the rubbish! So the garden has spent several months looking rather sorry for itself and rather bare without any grass.

I'm hoping that our new lawn arriving next week once laid and settled in will be treated with a lot more respect and will be loved by the whole family, (they say absence makes the heart grow) and a new Flymo Visimo would let our lawn know just what it means to us!
