I have a burberry painted lawn that needs some love

My lawn needs lots of loving this year because last year my husband spray painted the fence by laying it all out on the lawn. I'm the only one who has a 'Burberry' laid out lawn in orange paint! It still hasn't quite grown out yet!

My lawn needs loving because when we moved to our current address in October 2006 the garden had not been looked after for quite some time.It was not in a very good state - no weeding had been done and more importantly the grass had not been cut, it was long!!! So it definitely needs some loving now, as the weather is just right for doing things in the garden,especially cutting the grass.

My husband spends a lot of time feeding and removing moss, weed killing and edge trimming. As we have three large lawns and a large old petrol mower I would like to help him but would need a smaller mower.
He would see this as an unecessary purchase and would like to continue to do it himself. Unfortunately at 67 years old and diabetic there are times hes not really well enough to do it but likes to keep up with itall and has great pride in the garden.
