RIP Elan lawnmower bring on the Flymo

My lawn needs some loving because My mum brought me two baby guinea pigs for my birthday and i fell in love with them so much i got some more.However they seem to have obliterated my lawn with their constant munching (no wonder they are called pigs).I could do with making it look like a nice green lawn again for the summer or at least even and not so patchy.

Well I'm the not so proud owner of an Elan lawnmower which packed up at the end of last summer. I haven't had a clue what to buy to replace it (the Elan was rubbish), and you'd be making my mind up for me. Needless to say, the grass would be appreciative too (as would my dad whose lawnmower I've borrowed once so far this year)!

I need a new lawnmower because my grass is so long and my poor old mower cannot cut it any longer. My old mower only cuts a few feet then all the grass gets stuck, my husband gets so frustrated with it. Please let me win a new one so I no longer have to suffer my husbands tantrums!

Because it hasn't been looked after as well as it should have been in the past and we added some new grass last year and really need to make a big effort to bring the garden back to good condition.
