My boys have grown and the lawn has shrunk
L Misner:
I used to have a beautiful lawn - with stripes and not a weed in sight and then my boys grew old enough to walk and as they have grown my lawn has shrunk. First one goalpost and then two - a winter of teenagers kicking up the wet grass means that all i have left is what is left of a beautiful lawn and decorated with bare muddy patches.
Now the cricket season has started and the muddy patches have become wickets. My old lawn mower has given up and blown up - we beg you for a new one to make out cricket pitch perfect before the daisies take over! Its the only way I can love my lawn and my children!
