The flies are bad in Wiltshire, mate

It's all over the papers this morning, these delightful villages in Wiltshire have been hit by a plague of house flies, so bad that that that some homeowners are getting through 60 cans of insect spray a week.
Whilst some villagers are blaming chicken manure on nearby fields, Kennet District Council said it has not been possible to find the source of the problem at this stage.
