The mushroom development in Turkey

Just like the smurfs, the picturesque Akbuk Bay is the location of a unique holiday development. Located on a hill approximately 500 meters from the Aegean Sea all the houses in the Mushroom Village Holiday Development will have their very own uninterrupted sea views. The imaginative idea originated from the builder during her pregnancy a number of years ago.  Her ambition was to create a family orientated nature theme holiday where parents could de-stress while their children were happily occupied in a safe natural environment.

Sixty nine mushroom houses will be built in groups, with each group will be named after a flower. Next to each house is a vegetable garden and residents can bring these to the restaurant and have them cooked for them. This unusual holiday village will have a restaurant shaped as a cat, and a theatre shaped as a mouse. But along with the unusual, the village also provides phaetons (horse and carriage) to the beach.

This is an off the plan project, and one display house is already built and is open for viewings.  Building work will commence at the beginning of 2007. For further information please contact Sun Escape Estate Agents. Email Sun Escape Estate Agents or call 0090 256 811 51 97.

For some a bizarre place to go, for others the perfect place to relax and spend time with the kids. What do you think?
