Broken heart, broken home: but its great for the property market

With Christmas and Valentine's Day out of the way, this time of the year is notorious for being the busiest for break ups. With divorce or separation accounting for 9% of all property sales, and with figures still rising, estate agents know that the three Ds – divorce, debt and death bring houses to the market.
