Men and women have different ideas about the perfect property
The poll revealed that outdoor space, including a garden, balcony or roof terrace also ranked highly for both male and female respondents.
The remaining rankings however, served to prove the vast differences in what men and women desire in their home.
Men typically plumped for flashy gadgets such as surround sound entertainment systems, while women were lured by celebrity-style walk-in wardrobes and integrated coffee machines.

The luxury of solid granite work surfaces was ranked low for both sexes, suggesting that landlords might be better off investing in more obvious extras than quality kitchen specification. Surprisingly however, men showed themselves to be considerably more security conscious than women, ranking both underground parking and security in the top five.

Tell me about it, we've recently bought a house and already plans to gut it are afoot, but what I want for the property is different to what my wife wants, as ever she will get her own way. Nice site BTW, I work in the industry so it is good to keep abreast of news and issues that crop up.
