Recent research amongst home-movers gives us some new insights into property buying and selling behaviour. If you want to be invited to more valuations these learning's will be invaluable to you.
- When looking to buy, sell or rent property 90% of respondents do their research online compared with only 54% who use newspapers.
TIP:Make sure the amount you assign to your online marketing budget reflects the importance home-movers place on it. - 69% of respondents were looking to buy!
TIP: make sure your brand stands out online or you could be overlooked.
- Of those looking to buy 53% are also selling their home. This equates to 658,000 visitors to the site selling their homes.*
- Of those people looking to sell their home 45.4% are not on the market. This equates to 300,000 visitors who haven't yet instructed an agent.*
TIP: Treat every lead as if it were a valuation request. - 70.3 % of those selling have homes valued over £200,000. This equates to £1.3 billion of potential commission^
