Own Your Area

Guaranteed Top Spot is the ultimate weapon in the Estate Agent's armoury. It allows you to tell vendors that their property will be advertised at the top whenever buyers search in their area on propertyfinder.com.

GTS
Guaranteed Top Spot is an advertising position which highlights a property outside and above all the normal search results. It's a position which means you can highlight one or more of your properties with 3 great images, a border and your logo.

Imagine what a fantastic selling point this could be with prospective vendors. You can tell them that their property is guaranteed to come top of the list whenever buyers search in their area. What's more, if you have the Top Spot, no other agent in the area can have it at the same time.

Helping You Spread the Word

Our role is to drive motivated buyers and sellers to our site first and then to your properties and websites. Let us elaborate on some of the marketing activities in 2007.

Your LogoProperty Guides
This year we understood the importance of advertising propertyfinder.com on both a national scale and in your local area, so in 2007 we delivered across the UK a Property Guide, filled with our member agents properties.

Online Competition
We gave visitors to the site the opportunity to win thousands of pounds worth of £50 vouchers for over two months.

Branded Buses
Our branded buses drove around the streets of London, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester, carrying our promo team - who walked the streets to spread the word, handing out lollipops and competition flyers.

eNewsletter
Over 100,000 people currently receive our monthly Propertyfindings eNewsletter, filled with the latest property news and hot tips for the home.

Mailbox Drop
In mid November, we are doing a direct mail piece to over 91,000 homes which includes a mixture of properties that have recently been put on the market for sale and their neighbours. Both aim to entice the home-owner selling and the nosey neighbour interested in their property to visit a purpose built propertyfinder.com webpage providing advice on selling, buying, moving and finding an agent to suit their needs.

The objective of the campaign is to increase awareness among home-movers and promote propertyfinder.com as a 1-stop shop for advice and listings of property. The page has been built to encourage users to register, download the guides or search and contact agents.

And in 2008...
We have huge plans for 2008 which are bound to attract a lot of attention from home-hunters across the UK, including more Property Guides - seven in total and a huge outdoor campaign across six key areas in the UK, with buses and bus stops covered in propertyfinder.com. We can't tell you everything this instant, it's a bit of a surprise. All the details will be coming your way shortly. It's going to be BIG year!

Buyers are Sellers TOO!

We've been talking to people who visit our site. Here's a snapshot of what they think.

Recent research amongst home-movers gives us some new insights into property buying and selling behaviour. If you want to be invited to more valuations these learning's will be invaluable to you.

  • When looking to buy, sell or rent property 90% of respondents do their research online compared with only 54% who use newspapers.

TIP:Make sure the amount you assign to your online marketing budget reflects the importance home-movers place on it.

  • 69% of respondents were looking to buy!

TIP: make sure your brand stands out online or you could be overlooked.

  • Of those looking to buy 53% are also selling their home. This equates to 658,000 visitors to the site selling their homes.*

  • Of those people looking to sell their home 45.4% are not on the market. This equates to 300,000 visitors who haven't yet instructed an agent.*

TIP: Treat every lead as if it were a valuation request.

  • 70.3 % of those selling have homes valued over £200,000. This equates to £1.3 billion of potential commission^
