5 million people globally visit the REA Group of sites

Visitors to the realestate.com.au Group of sites has continued to soar with over 5.2 million people in July searching for property on residential and commercial property portals operating in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

July was a record month for realestate.com.au, Australia’s largest residential estate agency site with just under 3 million visitors.

July was also a record month for propertyfinder.com in the UK with just under 2 million visitors. The site has now moved into second position in the UK market and has experienced over 165% growth since it was acquired in October 2005.

allrealestate.co.nz is now New Zealand’s second largest residential real estate site with over 150,000 visitors each month.

Managing Director of the realestate.com.au Group, Simon Baker, said “we are extremely pleased with the continued growth of all our sites. They are now either number 1 or number 2 within each market that they operate.”

“Underlying this growth has been our movement offshore, the development of a global network of sites and the consistent application of proven marketing tools across all sites. We now believe that our combined readership is probably one of the largest in the world with move.com in the United States having 10-12 million visitors.”

Sites under the banner of the realestate.com.au Group now have over 11,500 agent and developer subscribers who advertise more than 700,000 properties across 35 countries.
